My Purpose

Travel

I consider myself exceedingly lucky to have had chances to travel since I was very little. My dad travels for work and my mom loves experiencing new places, so I have had the opportunity to explore many amazing countries. Among other amazing adventures, I have had the chance to explore the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, stay with locals in Nicaragua, work in Vietnam, learn French in France, and go to school in the Czech Republic. Experiencing new cultures, eating new food, and learning about different histories is one of my favourite things to do in the world - whether it be exploring it for the first time in a few country or finding new things about my home. This is where I find beauty and inspiration, Which I have decided to share here - both on my Travel and Photography pages in the hopes that it inspires you too.

Photography

When I was 14 I had to do a year-long project on a topic of my choosing. Having been in love with drawing and painting my whole life, I knew it had to be something creative, but having tried many fine art mediums I wanted something new. That’s how I settled on photography . As I grew up, I continued on with photography. 16 was my start into film photography. I took a course where I got to take photos, develop my own film, and print photos. Needless to say I fell in love. As life got busier, I turned to travel photography since vacations were when I had the most time to relax and find inspiration. Now, after a long hiatus and I attempting to get back into it - mostly thanks to my Uncle Dale, who generously provided me with my first film camera since high school. Stay tuned on my Photography page for the results.
